The "Hirschi Men Can" Scholarship was started in 2020 by 5 young Hirschi alumni who span the range of what it means to be a husky! We are medical students, law students, doctoral students, and athletes who all share a common tie as Hirschi graduates and have a desire to uplift the graduates that come after us. With the "Hirschi Men Can" Scholarship our goal is to empower and support the next generation of young, minority men coming from Hirschi High School. We want to set the precedent for our youth and show them that no matter what your story is, "Hirschi Men Can" become anything that they want to become. With the support of our scholarship, we want to lessen the burden so that their dream can seem just a little more tangible.
With that being said, the support for our scholarship was astronomical last year. As a board we realized that we are a product of our village. Each of us have had someone in our corner to support us through the tough times and cheer us on through the great times. Therefore, we want to open another scholarship with the support of the Wichita Falls Village. With the combined efforts of our community, there is no limit to what our youth can accomplish. We hope that you will join us on this journey of growth and impact for our community. Every donation counts and every youth deserves a village of support behind them.
