Help A Child In Need

Project Back to School (PBTS) is now a program of the WFISD Foundation and operates under the Foundation’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Through this initiative, we continue the long-standing mission of providing free school supply kits and backpacks to economically disadvantaged students in Wichita Falls, Texas—serving approximately 6,000 children each year.

Each August, PBTS hosts the annual Back to School Roundup, where Wichita Falls ISD and City View ISD students receive essential school supplies, backpacks, community resource information, health screenings, and more. This event remains a collaborative, community-wide effort dedicated to supporting local students and families.

Funded entirely through the generosity of donors and community partners, Project Back to School relies on continued support to ensure every child has the tools they need to start the school year prepared and confident.
